Bob Frazer is proudly a lifelong resident of Selma. While attending Auburn University, he played on the golf team for four years and graduated with a degree in Finance.
Interestingly enough, he played professional golf for four years after college. After early retirement from golf (needed to shoot lower) Bob joined his family in the insurance business as a Commercial Lines Producer (fancy for sold insurance to businesses).
After four years, he found himself as a full-time youth minister at Elkdale Baptist Church. This was a wonderful time of serving the Lord and others.
Several years later his father, Charles Frazer, Jr., became ill and passed away. During this time Bob chose to rejoin and purchase the agency becoming the third generation to own and operate Selma’s oldest family owned insurance agency, The Frazer Group. It is here he hopes to continue to serve others by caring for people and protecting their interests.
Bob and his family love Selma and its people. Coaching youth sports, reaching out to young people through All In Sports Outreach (www.allinsportsoutreach.org), and serving the local church (still Elkdale) are some of the ways he tries to make a difference.
